On September 10th, by sheer chance I was very fortunate to stumble upon a particular band at Korova Milkbar on College. I was instantly blown away to hear such a fresh sound, on top of the phenomenal live performance to top it all off. Since then I’ve been eagerly awaiting to get my hands on some recorded material. An official self-debut CD release concert could not have gone any better for local Toronto rock band, Flash Lightnin’ as they totally destroyed the legendary Horseshoe Tavern.
